The USC Trojans men’s volleyball team hosted arch rival UCLA at Galen Center on April 19, 2025 for the last match of the regular season. It was a rematch of their hard fought five set battle waged across town at Pauley Pavilion just two days earlier. The Bruins won that match, but the rematch was all Trojans, who prevailed in straight sets, 25-22, 25-22, 25-22. USC used a balanced attack with excellent distribution by setter Caleb Blanchette. Their block also dominated, causing the Bruins to have many hitting errors. USC was led by Dillon Klein (9 kills, .278) and Jack Deuchar (8 kills, .615). Guy Genis, Sterling Foley and Parker Tomkinson (with 6, 6, 5 kills respectively) also contributed clutch blocking. The Bruins were led by Zach Rama who had 18 kills, hitting .500. Both teams enter the MPSF championships as the 1 and 2 seeds giving each a bye to the semifinals on April 25 at Pepperdine.
