Good morning, beach volleyball fans,
This will be the final newsletter I write from our home in Tallahassee for quite some time. Florida State was home last weekend, going 4-0 with some notable wins over Georgia State and a legitimately plucky Bakersfield team — the Roadrunners have beaten Pepperdine and Georgia State already this year — and we’re now 9-0, with the most difficult portion of our schedule upcoming. The NCAA Beach season is about to kick into high gear.
Meanwhile, the AVP partnership season is at max RPMs right now. The biggest news? Trevor Crabb partnering with Phil Dalhausser for the upcoming AVP season. Which means that, yes, Phil Dalhausser will be in an AVP qualifier for the first time in 22 years when the League play-in tournaments begin in April. This follows Troy Field picking up Theo Brunner, Tri Bourne scooping Evan Cory and a host of others shifts.
All of this made this week’s episode, with the King Crabb himself, that much more fun.
