Good morning, beach volleyball fans,
It snowed again — for the second time this year! — in Tallahassee on Saturday, which put us in quite a mood to think about summer.
We can finally start doing exactly that.
The Beach Pro Tour schedule is alas out, and I broke it down both in writing and on audio and on video here. I doubt the schedule is 100% finalized, especially considering we still don’t know what the new Beach World Series will look like in November, and extra especially since Hamburg is still listed as TBD. Classic volleyball stuff. But we at least have a framework for the upcoming season, and y’all can begin planning your summers accordingly.
It already feels warmer. Not really, it’s actually 24 degrees in Florida right now, but it’s nice to think about, anyway.

- The Beach Pro Tour begins this week! The annual New Zealand Futures in Mount Manganui begins with Thursday’s qualifier. USA Volleyball has Avery Poppinga and Tory Paranagua — both former ‘Noles! — in the main draw, alongside Megan Gebhard and Jenna Belton. Also in the qualifier are Stanford stars Kelly Belardi and Charlotta Bell. The men have two teams in the main: Ryan Wilcox and Jacob La Bouliere, and Gage Basey and Thomas Hurst. Six more USA Volleyball teams fill out the qualifier. You can find the full entry lists here.
